High School Curriculum
This Courage to Speak® Drug Prevention Education Program for High Schools provides students in grades 9-12 with the knowledge and skills necessary to make healthy decisions and resist the pressure to use drugs and abuse drugs. This comprehensive substance abuse prevention curriculum incorporates 14 lessons that address communication, decision-making, risk reduction, problem solving and goal setting to empower high school students to avoid drug use and resist drug addiction. This curriculum includes the new marijuana and vaping lesson plans and handouts. There is an option to use Ginger Katz’s presentation for Activity #1C, and this activity can be completed with a online video, DVD, virtual or live presentation by Ginger Katz.
